Lucknow. In Uttar Pradesh, the UP government is running a variety of schemes to promote self -employment. Apart from the Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Yojana, the government has now announced another scheme. The government will subsidize up to 30 per cent on its behalf to open dhaba or food plaza on the highway. The scheme can be availed to develop facilities such as dhaba, motal and food plaza and AC toilet complex on the routes connecting National Highway, Expressway and Tourism Stays. Applications can be made for this scheme by May 25. Administration believes that this scheme will not only increase facilities for tourists but will also create employment opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors. Also, local people will also get work. Under the scheme, the government will provide grants on setting up dhaba and other facilities in marriage lawn, petrol-diesel pump complex or other useful complexes on private land. Registry fee and stamp duty will also be given full exemption on purchasing land for the construction of these facilities. Also, subsidy of up to 30% will be available on construction cost (capital expenditure).

How long registration

Under this scheme, facilities will also be provided for existing-side eminities. Restaurants will be given subsidy on facilities like men and women on facilities such as separate minimum 3 to 5 toilets, a toilet for disabled, sports equipment for children, RO system for pure drinking water, modular kitchen and freezer. The tourism department will also promote these dhabas and facilities through signage, glow sign board and website. Interested investors, entrepreneurs and dhaba operators can register on the online portal of Tourism Department by 25 May 2025.

How will registration

After visiting the UP Tourism website, you have to register through the Nivesh Mitra portal. On the investment friend portal you have to go to the login section, where you will see the option of new registration. In the registration form, the name of the company, the name of the owner of the company, email ID and mobile number will have to be entered. Then you have to submit the captcha code and submit it. After this your user will become ID and password, so that you will have to login and fill the form for subsidy.
