Amid stress from Pakistan, India showed strength, satellite dogfite at speed of 28000 km per hour, China will also sleep

New Delhi/Beijing: India’s dominance in space is increasing continuously. From Chandrayaan-3 to Aditya L-1, they are telling India’s space strength. Countries around the world are moving to India to send their satellites into space, as the Indian space agency ISRO has introduced reliable and the cheapest option compared to other countries to launch the satellite. Now India is doing something in space, which will blow the senses of China and Pakistan. India is operating dogfite in two satellites above 500 km above Earth.

Information about this dogfite has come at a time when tension with Pakistan has increased after the Pahalgam attack. Last year itself, China had a dogfite in the lower orbit amidst its defense satellites, which the US has recently expressed concern. Dogfite in space has the same nearest maneuver in two satellites, the way two fighter aircraft do during dogfite.

India did wonders in space

In a conversation with NDTV, ISRO Chairman V Narayanan said that the Spadex Mission of India has shown the process of successful docking and ignores twice. According to Narayanan, even after docking and ignorant exercises, both satellites had 50 percent fuel left. Using this remaining fuel, ISRO conducted a new test associated with close coordination between two satellites in the classroom, which was similar to mock dogfites in the air. This activity was technically complicated and difficult to carry out.

How was the test done?

According to the report, two Indian satellites flying in space at a speed of about 28,000 kilometers per hour, SDX01 and SDX02 autonomally participated in this exact flight pattern. Recently there was a nearby encounter between two satellites, which took place after several days of campaign to accommodate their classes.

The special thing in this practice of India was to transfer power from another satellite for a satellite heating element. The transfor period was about 4 minutes, which was as expected. In the second docking attempt, additional hold points were manually used at a distance of 3 meters.

ISRO achieved the first docking on 16 January this year, when he successfully docked two Indian satellites orbiting in space 475 km above Earth. In this way, India became the fourth country to do the docking after Russia, America and China. India launched Spadex Mission from PSLV rocket on 30 December last year. Docking is capable technology for upcoming missions such as Chandrayaan-4 and future Indian space stations.

India is competing with China

In March this year, the US Space Force expressed concern about China’s growing potential to exercise in space. American Space Force Vice President Michael A Gulatin then said, ‘We call it dogfighting in space. They are practicing strategy, techniques and procedures to conduct on-arbit space operations from one satellite to another. ‘
