The woman came from Madhya Pradesh for treatment

Shakuntala Nayak was a resident of Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. He complained of intestinal infection in the stomach. He was referred to Jhansi by local doctors. He was admitted to ward number two at Jhansi Medical College. Family members say that doctors advised him to offer blood. On May 8, when blood was being offered, he was sent to the radiology department for X -ray.

No hospital employee or ward boy took them for examination. Her husband had to draw the stretcher herself. His 9 -year -old son Saurabh kept walking with his mother holding a blood bottle in his hand. The medical college administration was stirred up after the pictures of the incident went viral. Principal of the college, Dr. Mayank Singh ordered CMS Dr. Sachin Mahur to investigate. Investigation revealed that the woman was sent for examination while offering blood. It is against medical guidelines.

CMS Dr. Sachin Mahur blamed five employees after preliminary inquiry. Strict steps have been taken against him. The salary of Sister Incharge Sonia Kasif and Staff Nurse Pushpa has been stopped. A show cause notice has also been issued to both. The services of outsourced staff nurse Pooja Bhatt and Class IV female employee Lakshmi have been terminated. Class IV regular employee Roshan has been suspended.
