This sensitive issue, it is not possible to take this in the House, Sharad Pawar shocked Congress on the demand to call Parliament session

Mumbai: The Congress has demanded the government to call a special session of Parliament over the ceasefire between India and Pakistan after Operation Sindoor, but Sharad Pawar, who is among the big leaders of the India alliance, has kept a separate stand on this issue. On Monday, Sharad Pawar, head of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Sharad Chandra Pawar in Mumbai, said that I am not against calling a special session of Parliament, but this is a sensitive and serious issue. Pawar said that discussion on such a serious issue is not possible in Parliament. In such a situation, it is necessary to keep the information confidential for the national interest. Instead of calling special sessions, it would be better that we all sit together (all -party meeting).

Congress demand shocks
After the announcement of ceasefire between India and Pakistan on 11 May, Rahul Gandhi and Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge had demanded that the government call a session of Parliament as soon as possible. All issues should be discussed in this so that all the nations can express their resolve about the first. The Congress was standing with the Congress government on the terrorist attack and then the ‘Operation Sindoor’ but the Congress has become aggressive on the announcement of the ceasefire with Pakistan. The Congress alleges that the government, with the help of the US, has opened the arbitration path of the third by announcing the ceasefire.

They cannot fight directly … Fadnavis expressed the apprehension of proxy war after a high-level meeting in Mumbai.

Jairam Ramesh had earlier demanded
Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Jairam Ramesh wrote in his long post on the social media platform X that the Congress demands an all -party meeting led by the Prime Minister (Narendra Modi). Along with the party Pahalgam terror attack, ‘Operation Sindoor’ and ceasefire, the first Washington DC, then the demand for calling a special session of Parliament for full discussion on the ceasefire announcements made by the governments of India and Pakistan. Pawar has described the demand for an all -party meeting as right but the demand for special session is not considered appropriate. Pawar says that the discussion of such a serious subject will not be possible.
