Dehradun. The large scarcity of school in the government medical colleges of Uttarakhand will soon be resolved. The state government has determined to recruit 365 assistant professors in seven government medical colleges. The Medical Education Department has despatched the recruitment proposal together with the college-sensible roster to the government. Of the 365 posts, 115 are for Scheduled Caste, 10 for Scheduled Tribe, 67 for Other Backward Class, 37 for Economically Weaker Section and 136 for Unreserved Class.
At current there are seven government medical colleges in the state. There is a scarcity of school in these colleges for a very long time. A complete of 567 posts of Assistant Professor are sanctioned in these government medical colleges, out of which solely 202 posts are stuffed with everlasting school, whereas 365 posts are mendacity vacant for a very long time. At current the division is making appointments on these posts on contract foundation. Now preparations are being made to fill these posts by means of common recruitment. Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat stated that the purpose of the state government is to make sure one hundred pc availability of everlasting school in all government medical colleges.
