Distance from each other
The Tanatani between the Shiv Sena and the NCP has caused turmoil in the politics of Maharashtra. On the one hand, Eknath Shinde is escaping from the programs organized by the Ministries of NCP, while Ajit Pawar is also avoiding going to Shiv Sena events. NCP leader Ajit Pawar did not recently attend the Mahabaleshwar Festival organized by the tourism department. The minister of this department is from Shambhuraje Desai Shiv Sena. CM Devendra Fadnavis was present at the event, but Ajit Pawar and NCP leader Indranil Naik Nadrad.
Eknath Shinde did not even go
After this, Eknath Shinde was absent from NCP’s ‘glorious Maharashtra’ ceremony. It was to be honored by all former Chief Ministers of Maharashtra. Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray did not come. Sharad Pawar had already refused to join, while Uddhav also visited. But the most shocking thing was that Eknath Shinde also did not attend the event. Shinde was the Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 2022 to 2024.
Shirsat put ghee in fire
It is said that Sanjay Shirsat did the work of pouring ghee in the fire between the two parties. Shirsat Shiv Sena is a minister from quota. He has the Ministry of Social Justice. He accused Ajit Pawar of withdrawing Rs 413 crore from his department without any advice or approval. He said that he would raise this issue in front of Shinde and Fadnavis. They allege that Ajit Pawar’s finance department is weakening the department responsible for the welfare of backward classes.
Long running tension
It is said that there is a long time between Shinde and Pawar. During Amit Shah’s visit to Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde also complained to Ajit Pawar. He also accused the Shiv Sena quota departments of allocating low amounts. He had said that Ajit Pawar is not issuing funds for the development works of Shiv Sena ministers and MLAs. Ajit Pawar did not take it very seriously. He had said that we regularly meet in cabinet and other important meetings. If there are any issues, they can be resolved through interaction.
