India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ has not only harmed Pakistan. Rather, India has also suffered a big loss. Even though the stock market has not declined, the rupee has suffered a strong setback in the currency market. The special thing is that India’s rupee has seen a more decline in the match against the Pakistani rupee. Looking at the data, on Wednesday, the rupee lost 45 paise against the dollar. On the other hand, the Pakistani rupee has seen a fall of 13 paise against the dollar.
According to experts, the Indian rupee can be seen on Thursday. If Pakistan also starts retaliation from there, then the rupee can be seen further. By the way, Indian rupee has seen a decline of 50 paise in the last two days. Let us also tell you what kind of figures are being seen in the currency market.
Big fall in rupee
On Wednesday, the rupee fell 45 paise to close at 84.80 (provisional) against the US dollar, as Pakistan and Pakistan occupied the terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan increased across the border after India’s military attacks, causing pressure on the domestic currency. On Wednesday, the Indian armed forces carried out missile attacks on 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, including the stronghold of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s base in Muridke. Two weeks after the Pahalgam attack, military attacks were carried out under Operation Sindoor, in which 26 civilians were killed.
Foreign currency traders said that the Indian rupee declined on Wednesday after the Indian Army ran ‘Operation Sindoor’ and attacked terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir, which led to pressure on domestic currency. The rupee opened at 84.65 against the dollar in the Interbank Forex Exchange Market and wandered between the highest level of 84.47 and the lowest level of 84.93 in day trading. At the end of the trading, the rupee closed at 84.80 (provisional), which is 45 paise less than the previous closed level. On Tuesday, the rupee reduced by 5 paise to 84.35 against the US dollar amid a vigilant revaluation of rising uncertainty and risk ability.
Pakistan’s rupee also declined
On the other hand, Pakistan’s currency has also seen a decline. But this decline is not the same, the kind of expectation was being expected. Looking at the data, the Pakistani rupee was at the level of 281.17 a day before, which came to the level of 281.30 on Wednesday. This means that the Pakistani rupee has closed down 13 paise against the dollar. Two days ago, the Pakistani rupee level was seen at 280.85. This means that the Pakistani rupee has seen a decline of 45 paise in two days. According to Anuj Gupta, head of Commodity currency of HDFC Securities, Indian rupee may rise on Thursday. If Pakistan turns back and attacks, then the currency of both India and Pakistan can see a decline.
How can the rupee move
Research analyst of Mirae Asset Sharekhan Anuj Chaudhary said that we hope that the rupee will trade with a positive stance due to the weak dollar and positive domestic and global market. FII flow can also support the rupee. However, the rising Jio political stress between India and Pakistan and positive growth in crude oil prices can stop a sharp rise. Chaudhary further said that traders may be cautious before the results of the US FOMC meeting. The US Federal Reserve is expected to keep interest rates unchanged. The USD-inR spot price is expected to trade between 84.40 and 85.10.
