Under the route of District Magistrate Savin Bansal, an consciousness camp was organized on Wednesday by District Child Protection Unit Dehradun/District Probation Office Dehradun, Women Welfare Department, Uttarakhand in the premises of the shelter home Sarafina Trust, Clement Town, Dehradun. The goal of this camp was to make the women dwelling in Lohia Nagar, Ogal Bhatta, Prem Nagar, Kavli Road, Patel Nagar, Chandan Nagar and Mohabbewala settlements aware of varied social and authorized points.
In the camp, women got detailed details about the schemes of Women Welfare Department, POCSO Act, Juvenile Justice Act, Child Labour, Child Marriage, Child Beggary, Sponsorship Scheme, Orphan Certificate, Child Helpline, Good Touch-Bad Touch, Child Welfare Committee and Juvenile Justice Board.
