FADA, an organization of vehicle dealers across the country, releases the data of this retail cell every month. The data of this retail cell of April has made many unique revelations.
Fada says that due to the shopping of people around Chaitra Navratri, Akshaya Tritiya, Bengali New Year, Vaisakhi and Vishu, the sale of vehicles has been tremendous till the end of April. It has increased by 2.95 percent to 22,87,952 units. Whereas in April 2024, the total retail cell of vehicles was 22,22,463 units.
Everyone’s increased cell, this sector failed
Fada says that in April, all the categories of cells except Commercial Vehicle (CV) have been recorded. During this period, two -wheeler cells have increased by 2.25 percent, 24.5 percent of three -wheeler and the sale of passenger vehicle by 1.5 percent. While the tractor cell has also grown 7.5 percent. Only commercial vehicle cell has decreased by one percent.
Whose units sold?
The retail cell of two -wheelers in April was 16,86,774 units, as compared to the same month it was 16,49,591 units in the same month. During this period, the retail cell of passenger vehicle has been 3,49,939 units. In April 2024, the figure was 3,44,594 units.
Last month, the retail cell of commercial vehicle was 90,558 units. Whereas in April 2024 it was 91,516 units. On the other hand, the retail cell of the tractor increased to 60,915 units, which was 56,635 units this month a year ago. During this time, the cell of three -wheelers has been strong. His retail cell was 99,766 units, which was 80,127 units in April last year.
