Ayodhya: A tradition has been broken in Hanumangarhi in Ayodhya, UP after 300 years and the Peethaish Mahant Prem Das of the bench has come out of the temple. On the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Mahant took this decision and came out of the temple premises. For the first time in more than 300 years, this has happened that the Mahant of Hanumangarhi has come out of the temple.

When Mahant Prem Das came out of the temple, a royal procession was also taken out on the way to the newly built Ram temple. All the disciples, Nagas and other devotees of Mahant attended it. Let us know that the earlier Mahant started this tradition that Mahant would not leave the Hanumangarhi campus during his life.

What did Sanjay Das of Hanumangarhi tell?

Mahant Sanjay Das of Hanumangarhi said, ‘This tradition has been followed since 1737 (288 years). The role of the Mahant is to dedicate himself to Lord Hanuman. Once he sits on the back, he won and dies in this temple complex. His body can leave the campus only after death. ‘

Sanjay Das said, ‘Even in the civil case, the courts have respected this tradition. The representative of this arena appears in the court if required. In fact, in the 1980s, the court held a hearing within Hanumangarhi to record Mahant’s statement.

Actually Mahant Prem Das had a desire to go to the Ram temple. The Panch Parmeshwar of Nirvani Arena accepted his wish and allowed him to come out once in life. Please tell that Hanumangarhi is considered to be the most proven temple of Hanuman in Ayodhya. It is believed that before going to Ram temple, one must visit this temple and see Hanuman ji.
