Gas cylinder

After the Pahalgam attack, tension between India and Pakistan is on high. The clouds of war between the two countries can rain anytime. Amidst all this, a bad news is coming for the common people. In fact, in the coming days, the prices of gas cylinders may increase once again and this time the prices of gas can increase by 100 to 150 rupees. What are the reasons behind all this, we are telling you in detail here.

Causes for increase in gas cylinder price

According to the information, in the financial year 2026, oil companies will lose 30 thousand crores in the sale of LPG (LPG). According to the report, earlier this loss was about 40 thousand crore rupees, but the government increased the price of gas cylinder by 50 rupees in the past, after which there was a decrease in this loss by 10 thousand crores. In such a situation, if the government did not help the oil companies, then the price of LPG cylinder can increase once again in the coming days.

Government has given assurance

In order to eliminate the deficit of oil companies, the government has assured to bear this loss, but in the midst of all this, if there is a war of India and Pakistan, then the government will definitely have an extra fund, due to which the government can stop the relief that oil companies are, and the common people can be burdened to eliminate this deficit.

Price of gas increased in international market

The deficit in gas supply to oil companies is happening due to Saudi CP. According to the Business Standard report, the average price of Saudi CP in FY 21 and FY 23 has increased from $ 415 per metric ton to $ 712 per metric ton. On the other hand, according to these prices, oil companies have not yet increased the prices of gas cylinders.
