Mumbai. Indian Railways is organizing a special heritage tour for the first time, connecting the major places associated with the life and Maratha pride of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. For this visit, Bharat Gaurav AC Tourist Train will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai on 9 June. This special tour of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Circuit will be rotated during 5 nights and 6 days of historical forts, temples and places associated with Shivaji Maharaj.
This journey will start from Mangaon station from where tourists will go to Raigad Fort. Shivaji Maharaj’s coronation took place at this place. After this, the major places of Pune like Lal Mahal, Kasba Ganapati and Shiva Srishti will be shown. Shivneri Fort, Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga, Pratapgarh Fort, Mahalakshmi Temple of Kolhapur and Panhala Fort are also involved in this yatra.

This state -of -the -art AC tourist train, with a capacity of 748 tourists, will also provide boarding boarding from Dadar and Thane stations. Passengers will also be provided facilities like night rest, vegetarian food, local tour from AC buses, travel insurance and tour escort. The tickets for this heritage journey are available on IRCTC website on the basis of first come.
