NEET UG Exam has revealed great negligence at a center. Many students were not taken biometrics in the block of Delhi’s Jahangirpuri Government Senior Second Girls College. The students were told that the machine is bad, first take the exam and then biometric will be taken. However, this was not done even after the examination. Till late night, the students kept trying to talk to the center in -charge, but could not get any satisfactory answer. It was just said by the Center in -charge that without biometric work will be done, while in NEET it is certain that if the biometric match does not match, then the attendance of the student will not be considered. When TV9 contacted the HRD ministry on this problem, he has asked to investigate the matter and answer.
NEET UG was organized from 2 pm to 5 pm on Sunday at various centers across the country. A center was also built for this at the Jahangirpuri Government Senior Second Girls College, Delhi. A large number of students arrived here to take the exam. The rule is that according to the biometric, students were to be given entry in the examination center, although after taking the bamitric of some students, it was said that the machine is bad, after which the entry was given with the admit card and it was said that the biometric to fix the machine would be taken, but it was not done.
Student stood in college, management does not answer
Even after the examination, when biometrics were not taken, the students sought answers. The management could not give any answer about this, on the contrary, he said that this has happened at all the centers of Delhi. When the students insisted for biometric, it was said that without biometric attendance would be accepted, while this cannot happen according to the rules of NEET. A student who reached to take the exam, said that there is also a process of installing a hologram on the admit card in the examination, when he complained to the center in -charge, he said that there is a crowd, due to this, there is a problem, there will be a problem, corporate it will be done.
Our year will be ruined
The students present at the examination center are constantly demanding the management to complete the biometric process, the students told in a conversation with TV9Hindi that if the biometric process did not happen, it will be assumed that our biometric match was not done and we will be considered absent. In such a situation, the result of the paper we have taken will not be released. It is also alleged by the students that when the Center in-charge said that there would be no problem, they were told that they should give this in writing, then the center in-charge was not ready on it.
What is the rules of NEET UG if there is no biometric?
NTA has made biometric mandatory before NEET UG, so that the purity of the examination can be maintained. If a student does not have a biometric match before the examination, then he can also be denied sitting in the exam. If the matter of disturbances in or after the examination comes to light, then on suspicion of fraud, NTA can see it as an attempt to copy and also stop the result of the student concerned. In such a situation, students are upset, because biometrics were not taken in their case, the students say that in such a situation, their presence in the exam hall will not be considered.
