Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Dharma Sansad program organized by Aastha Path Muni on Monday in the district of Aastha Path Muni under Tehri area.
The Chief Minister said during the discussion in the program that Chardham Yatra is the lifeline of Uttarakhand. Millions of devotees come to visit Chardham Yatra. Every possible effort has been made for safe, well -organized and smooth Chardham Yatra.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has a special attachment towards Uttarakhand. Under his leadership, the work of the master plan of Badrinath Dham, the rebuilding work in Baba Kedarnath Dham and the works of Rishikesh-Karnprayag railway line are being done rapidly. On reaching Mana, the frontier village of Chamoli, he called every frontier village as the first village of the country. He had appealed to the tourists to buy local products from 05 percent of their expenses. Modi ji is the first Prime Minister of the country to stay night in Kedarnath.
The Chief Minister said that a winter journey has also been started in Uttarakhand, so that devotees and tourists can come here throughout the year. The Prime Minister encouraged the winter journey on the arrival of Uttarkashi. He said that every site of Uttarakhand itself is a destination.
Describing the attack on innocent people by terrorists in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, the Chief Minister said that India’s army will definitely answer it.
On the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), the Chief Minister said that just as Maa Ganga provides water, life and prosperity to all, similarly this law will also prove to be beneficial for all. He said that strict anti -duplicate laws have also been brought by the state government, after which more than 22 thousand youths have been provided government jobs in three years in the state.
The Chief Minister said that Chardham Yatra is a spiritual and religious journey, maintain its original form. He expected everyone to follow the rules of travel. He assured the Chardham Yatra to be safe and easy and invited devotees to come here in maximum numbers.
