PIB’s fact-check unit exposed lies
Pakistan continues to make false claims. This time he misused the video of an Indian news channel. Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) showed the video in a media briefing. He claimed that the video is proof of the damage done to the Indian airbase.
PIB’s fact-check unit immediately exposed this lie. He said that the video has been incorrectly cut and added. PIB said in a statement, “Pakistan is using fake videos to mislead its people.” Pakistan is not telling the truth.
Pakistan prickle in video
The entire video shown by the Indian news channel showed a loss to a Pakistani Airfield. This loss was done in the action of the Indian Army. However, DG ISPR showed only 5 seconds of the 41 second video. He removed the real information.
The Pakistani Army spokesman said, “We will show you another clip that will tell the real story.” However, the video he showed was incorrectly edited. In response, the PIB Fact Czech released the entire video. It is clear in this video that the loss was caused by a Pakistani airbase, not the Indian airbase.
Pakistan lies about Bathinda Airfield
This is not the first time Pakistan has spread false news. Even before, it was claimed on Pakistani social media that Bathinda Airfield was destroyed. However, India also termed this claim wrong. PIB’s fact check said that these posts are being spread deliberately. He also informed that Bathinda Airfield is working completely and has not suffered any harm.
PIB said in a post on X (first Twitter), “Viral claims about Bathinda! Posts are being spread on social media that Bathinda Airfield has been destroyed. The news has turned out to be fake in PIB Fact Check. Bathinda Airfield is completely operational and no damage has been done. Do not trust wrong information. Do not be aware.”
