District Medical Officer (DMO) Dr. Sujata Thakur at Siddhaur Community Health Center, Barabanki gave one-day training to Asha and Sangini staff for filariasis eradication marketing campaign. This training was organized on the event of Filaria Day on eighth February. In the training, DMO defined how anti-filarial medicine (like DEC and Albendazole) will likely be safely given to all eligible individuals beneath Mass Drug Administration (MDA) in each village. The medication is to not be taken on an empty abdomen, pregnant ladies, kids beneath two years of age and significantly in poor health individuals.
