Dehradun. Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences (SGRRIM&HS) below the joint aegis of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) took out three public awareness rallies concurrently in the sub-centres of Rural Health Training Center (RHTC) Mothrowala, School of Nursing of SGRR University and Mahant Indiresh Hospital at Khurbuda. Students participated enthusiastically in all three public awareness rallies and alerted the basic public about this severe situation.
Dr., Head of the Department of Community Medicine at Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences. Puneet Ohri mentioned that the goal of the awareness rally organized on the theme of One Health and Nation was to unfold public awareness about the challenges arising from unplanned urbanization, its results on the setting and the adversarial results on human and animal well being. The program particularly highlighted the idea of One Health, below which it was informed that the well being of people, animals and the setting is deeply interconnected.
A rally was taken out below the management of Dr. Rahul Sharma, Medical Officer Incharge RHTC at Mahant Indiresh Hospital Sub-centre Mothrowala. On this event, Dr. Sonika and Dr. Vishal Kumar, Medical Faculty Subhash Ramola, Public Relations Officers Pramod Kaniyal and Manju Bhatt, Health Inspectors Deeksha Rawat, Sojan, Anjali, Tanu, Gaurav, Samuel, Shabnam, Kajal, Ranjan and Lalita, Nursing Faculty Naresh, attendants and college students of Community Health Nursing had been current.
