India-China Border: Petroling points will be geotagging, India is taking big steps to secure the border on LAC with China

Amid the ongoing tension with Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack, India is engaged in the task of securing its borders with another neighboring country of China. India is going to take many big steps on Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. This includes several major steps including geotagging the patrolling points.

After geo tagging, India’s soldiers will help in patrolling on LAC. In the last six months, India has increased the border monitoring, along with regular patrolling, there has been continuous talks between the commanders of India and China.

It must be reminded that in the year 2020, there was a violent clash between the soldiers of India and China in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh and after that the relationship between the two countries deteriorated. After this, there was a continuous round of talks between the top commanders of the two countries and on October 21 last year, there was an agreement between the two countries in the case of patrolling. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Chinese President Xi Jinping during the summit of BRICS leaders in Kazan, Russia.

According to The Indian Express, the process of disappointment between the two countries was completed in October last year. Officers of both countries also gave sweets to each other. Patrolling plans will be shared

According to sources, the plan of patrolling between the two sides will already be shared to avoid any conflict between the soldiers. Indian soldiers have also been given necessary guidelines in this regard. Apart from this, commanding officers and brigade commanders of army troops posted on the border will also interact with China in this matter and if there is more need, Major General or above rank officers in the army will interact with Chinese counterparts.

Certainly geotaging of patrolling points will help in demarcation of LAC. For this, many types of cameras have also been installed on LAC and Indian Air Force helicopters are flying continuously. The army has bought several new drones in the previous months to better monitor LAC. This will help the army in case of monitoring sensitive areas on the border.
