After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India and Pakistan are once again seen standing at the mouth of the war. India has said to mix the culprits of this attack in the soil. For this, the government has given full exemption to the army. Meanwhile, the Union Home Ministry has directed to drill 244 districts of security mock drills in the country at 7 pm on Wednesday. Earlier such a drill was done during the 1971 war. At that time such drill lasted for about 15 days. There are many people among us who still tell the experience of that time. A similar experience was also with former MP and senior Congress party leader Jayaprakash Aggarwal. He has shared his experiences at that time with News18 India.

It must have been evening time. It is a matter of the year 1971. Suddenly the light went away in the evening and a kind of siren started ringing. Nobody knows anything. People went under the shadow of fear and fear. All this happened without telling. In a short time, the police started appearing in the streets and in all the places and it was told that there has been a fight in India and Pakistan. Therefore, black out is being done in this way.
We were very scared and scared because no one knew what was going to happen. People used to feel that the bomb would not fall on us, so all of us followed the kind of nature.
Every day, the siren used to ring at 7:00 pm and after that all the lights used to get ruined. People were instructed to use at least electricity. Lights outside the house were closed. The light inside was also burnt only when needed.
It lasted for 15 days and after that when Hindustan won the battle, then the black out ended. We did not know anything so we were more scared. In today’s changed circumstances, people need to know why it is needed and if something like this happens then what they have to do. In such a situation, whatever is being black out, it is important to understand today’s generation.
