Indian Air Force fighter aircraft, Rafael and Jaguar thundered on the Ganges Expressway

Shahjahanpur: The warships of the Indian Air Force showed their strength on the Ganges Expressway on Friday. Rafael, Miraj and Jaguar performed air shows on three and a half kilometers of air strip in Shahjahanpur. These fighter aircraft practiced Touch and Go on the Ganges Expressway. The purpose of this air show is to use this expressway as an alternative runway during war or disaster. Last Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the 3.5 km long modern airstrip on the Ganga Expressway in Shahjahanpur. This will be the first such strip in the country where the fighter aircraft of the Air Force will be able to land at day and night. From the security point of view, about 250 CCTV cameras have been installed on both sides of the airstrip. In view of the air show, the Indian Air Force has taken the airstrip under its jurisdiction.

Aircraft will land again from 7 pm to 10 pm

The air show will be held both day and night time, so that the airstrip can also be tested for landing the aircraft at night. During the show, fighter aircraft will fly at a height of one meter on the airstrip as a test and then the aircraft will land on the airstrip and then fly. After this, the same practice will be done again from 7 pm to 10 pm and all the fighters will come from the Air Force Station in Bareilly.

Air show delayed due to thunderstorm

Earlier, the air show was delayed due to deteriorating weather. The air show time was scheduled at 11 am. Shahjahanpur received rain with thunderstorms before the aircraft landing. The thick clouds kept hovering and the strong wind kept on dust. There was a lot of enthusiasm among the school children who came to see the landing of fighter aircraft.
