Jewar Airport gets another deadline, now incomplete work will have to be completed by June 30

Greater Noida: The deadline has been changed for a third time to complete the incomplete work of Noida Airport. Now the date of June 30 has been fixed for this. During the inspection on Wednesday, Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh gave instructions in this regard. At the same time, before the completion of the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP), the Airport Authority of India (AAI), the Civil Aviation Security Bureau (Bakas) and the Directorate of the Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will inspect the airport arrangements and submit a report. After this, the process of issuing aerodrum license will be finalized. However, more than 2 thousand workers have gone from the airport site to harvest wheat crops. In such a situation, there will be a challenge to complete the work on time this time.

If the work is found satisfactory, then hope of flying soon

If the work is found satisfactory in the team inspection, then it will be a big step towards the first phase of flight. During the last inspection, the AAI team had suggested reforms in several airport arrangements, stating technical and structural flaws. It will now be seen how much they have been implemented.

Explain that after the trial at the airport was successful, the formalities of aerodrodrum license as well as the formalities of Aeronautical Information have been completed. AIP publication has also been done by AAI. Under this, all countries are informed about the introduction of new airports on the International Air Transport Association website. The 70 -day process, which started on 6 March, is being completed on 15 May. Earlier on May 10, the team can conduct inspection.

Passenger facilities work completed, construction work is hindered

On Wednesday, Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh was told that 10 aerobridges are ready. Elevator and baggage system has been installed. Other works including runways, aprons, ATC tower have been completed. However, the work of water treatment plant and sewage treatment plant is in the same position as one and a half months ago. Due to 40 percent of the work, now the options of these two are also being searched for operations.
