In such a situation, the question arises whether Jose Butler and Will Jax will no longer return to India for IPL. Butler is included in the team of Gujarat Titans. Will Jacks is in the team of Mumbai Indians. Both the players were showing great games for their respective teams, but in the event of stress, they returned to England. However, the Gujarat Titans franchise reported that Butler is coming back to India on 14 May. In such a situation, it is clear that he will miss some of the ODI series for England.
The first IPL final was to be played on 25 May
According to the already fixed schedule, the final match of IPL 2025 was to be played on 25 May, but now the schedule and venue have completely changed. The ECB had fixed its schedule according to the first schedule. Both Gujarat and Mumbai teams are a strong contender to reach the playoffs. This is why Butler has decided to come back. Will Jacks can also get back with Mumbai Indians.
Apart from Butler and Will Jacks, England’s Jofra Archer, Jacob Beth and Phil Salat are also included in the squad. Archer will no longer return to this IPL, as his team is out of the race of Rajasthan Royals Playoffs. At the same time, Phil Salat can play RCB because he has been selected only for the T20 series while information about Bethal has not been revealed.
