Lord Narasimha Dev celebrated with devotion in ISKCON Sector 37 Temple

Faridabad: The day of Lord Narasimha Dev was celebrated with great reverence and joy in the ISKCON Sector 37 Temple. Devotees gathered in the temple and worshiped the wonderful form of God and wished them grace and protection.

Lord Narasimha is revered as the protector of the devotees and the destroyer of unrighteousness. He ended the tyrannical demon like Hiranyakashyap to protect the devotee Prahlad Maharaj and gave the message that God himself protects the person who comes to the shelter of God with true heart – he has to appear in any form.

The specialty of Lord Narasimha is that they destroy every power that obstructs the path of devotion, whether it is external or internal. His Leela shows that they not only protect the body, but also protect the devotion of the heart of the devotee.

The festival started at 4:30 am with Mangal Aarti. After this, Hare Krishna Mahamantra was chanting and the devotees participated in Darshan Aarti at 7:45 pm and looked at the divine form of the Lord. The narrative session was held at 8:30 am and 3:45 pm, in which the devotion of Lord Narasimha and the stagnant devotion of Prahlad Maharaj were discussed.

The main attraction of the day was Abhishek, Greed Kirtan and drama in which the pastimes of God were lively depicted. In the end, all the devotees received prasad and found spiritual satisfaction.

Temple president Gopeshwar Das said on this occasion:
“Lord Narasimha Dev’s appearance teaches us that whoever performs devotional devotion like Prahlad Maharaj, God himself protects it. On this auspicious occasion we all take refuge in his feet and pray to them for protecting our devotion and progress in spiritual life.”

The event inspired the devotees to move forward on the path of devotion, faith and surrender, and this day became a living experience of God’s grace.
