Symbolic photo
Kerala A unique case came to light in Kannur district, where the groom reached the wedding with a delay of three hours. The reason became the mistake of Google location. A relative of the bride sent a Google location of the wedding venue to the groom, but she was accidentally elsewhere. As a result, the groom reached some other temple, about 60 km away instead of the real place of marriage.
The groom reached the wrong temple
The groom, a resident of Thiruvananthapuram, was coming to the Kijhur Mahavishnu temple located in Irritti, Kannur. But the location on which he trusted took him to the Kijhur Shiva temple located in Payyoli of Vadkara. The groom reached the temple with full devotion, but there was neither a bride nor any preparation for marriage.
Revealed by phone call
When the time of marriage started passing and the groom did not reach, then the family contacted him on the phone. Then it came to light that the groom has reached some other place. After this, the correct location was told and the groom immediately left and started traveling towards the real temple of Irritti.
60 km distance increased trouble
The temple where the groom reached and where the real marriage was to be held, the distance between them was about 60 kilometers. Due to traffic and road, this journey was completed in three hours. By the time the groom reached the right place, the wedding rituals were over and he could not attend the wedding ceremony.
Had to trust the location heavy
The groom told that he had gone to the Google location sent by the bride’s family. He was not aware that Irritti also has a temple named Kijhur, and that was the real wedding place. Due to the mistake of Google Map and lack of correct information, the happiness of marriage was a while, but later the two families together completed the rest of the rituals.
