This madrasa located in Bahawalpur also has the home of Jaish Chief Maulana Masood Azhar and many other terrorists. Training camps of terrorists have been being organized within this madrasa for the last three decades. In this madrasa, more than 600 youth are claimed to be trained for terror. Masood Azhar and terrorist Sagarnas have come here and have been giving speeches spreading frenzy. In such a situation, the death toll in India’s missile attack can be more than the data that has been revealed so far.
Why did Bahawalpur become target
The terrorist organization led by Markaz SubhanAllah Masood Azhar in Bahawalpur in southern Punjab, Pakistan is known as the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed. This group has taken responsibility for many major attacks in India or its name is associated with the plot of attacks. This includes the 2001 Parliament attack and the 2019 Pulwama suicide attack. This madrasa was on the target of the Indian Army.
The city of Bahawalpur of Pakistan is considered a stronghold of Jaish-e-Mohammed. Here the headquarters of this faction i.e. Markaj SubhanAllah are spread over about 18 acres. Here recruitment, funding and training goes on for Jaish. It is from here that conspiracies for attack on India have also been hatched. Jash-e-Mohammed has been officially banned in 2002 but there is a training of terror in this campus.
