Ahmedabad Food Department Investigation
Ahmedabad In the Municipal Corporation’s Food Department recently investigated various food businesses of the city. During this time many restaurants, hotels and other business units were found to be violating food safety rules. After investigation, AMC (Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation) took steps to seal these units. This action has been taken in view of the concern of the people about food security.
Shocking report from Paldi Bhatta surfaced
Samples of strawberry ice cream taken from Yasvi Beverages at Paladi Bhatta were found to be inferior in analysis. Subsequently, AMC has issued a notice to temporarily suspend the food trade license and registration of this unit. This action has been taken keeping in mind the safety of consumers.
Food Department took samples of various products
The AMC Food Department took samples of various food products during its investigation. These included 11 samples of milk and milk products, 4 samples of bakery products, 36 samples of gram flour and jaggery, and many other beverages such as mango juice, sugarcane juice, and 19 samples of chiku milk shake. Apart from this, 5 samples of cold drinks were also taken. These samples were analyzed and many products were found to be insecure.
Unhealthy conditions in Badami mill premises
Unhealthy conditions were found after inspecting the vegetable chutney factory in the Badami mill premises in Bapunagar. It was found that the production process here can be dangerous for consumers. Therefore, this unit was sealed in public interest.
Restaurant sealed when insects are found in hospitality
At the eternal Hospitality (TSF) restaurant in South Bhopal, a customer complained of insects found in dishes. Subsequently, unclean conditions were found during the inspection, and the AMC sealed this restaurant.
Gaut oil seized from union oils
Samples of refined palmoline oil and refined soybean oil were taken from Milan Oals Private Limited, which is located near Chandola Lake in Behrampura ward. These samples were analyzed and till the investigation is completed, oil worth 2 lakh 65 thousand rupees was confiscated.
