Weeds, Operation Sindoor and deceased journalist Daniel Pearl on the death of terrorist Azhar.

Operation vermilion launched by India in response to the Pahalgam terror attack has achieved great anti -terrorism success. About 100 terrorists were killed in this military operation, including infamous and most wanted terrorist Abdul Rauf Azhar. Abdul Rauf is the same terrorist who was involved in the 1999 IC-814 kidnapping case and due to which terrorist Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh was released. The same terrorist who kidnapped and killed American-Jewish journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002.

On the second day of Operation Sindoor, the issue took international color after the involvement of Pakistani army officials and mourning them in the funeral of Abdul Rauf Azhar.

Daniel Pearl’s father Judial Pearl on Friday, while raising a sharp question on X (East Twitter), wrote, “I want these dignitaries to tell us: What are you really mourning?” Which role model are your children teaching to respect? What have you learned from this man?

Justice was also found for Daniel Pearl

Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said on Friday that justice has been ensured for not only the victims of Pahalgam attack, but also for the murder of IC-814 kidnapping and Daniel Pearl by targeting terrorists under Operation Sindoor.

He said that one of the nine terrorist structures destroyed under the operation was also from Bahawalpur, which is considered to be a major base of Jaish-e-Mohammed and from where the terrorists associated with the killing of Pearl were operated.

Misri said that the retaliation taken on Behawalpur was not just a military action, but it was a strategic initiative to abolish an international terrorism center. He said that Jaish-e-Mohammed and its associated institutions are directly or indirectly responsible for the murder of Daniel Pearl. Action on Bahawalpur is a suitable and necessary response to this cruel murder.

Significantly, Bahawalpur is considered to be the stronghold of Jaish-e-Mohammed, headed by Masood Azhar, which has been declared a global terrorist by the United Nations.
