Pune A shocking case has come to light in the boundary of Vishrambagh police station, where a young woman has accused the recently built police sub-inspector of cheating, threatening and exploitation. According to the information, when the accused youth was preparing for the competitive examination, he quietly got married to a young woman. Neither the family was aware of this marriage nor this relationship was ever accepted in the society.
Relationship broke after staying together for five years
The woman said that the accused and the accused youth stayed together for almost five years. During this time, there was a physical relationship between the two and it was assured that one day he would tell the family about this relationship. But as soon as the girl became pregnant, the accused made pressure and miscarried her.
Behavior changed after becoming a police
Now this youth has become a sub-inspector in the police department. But his attitude changed completely as soon as he got the job. When the woman repeated her marriage and asked her to tell the family, she flatly refused. He broke the relationship with the woman by making an excuse for caste and said, “My family will not accept you because of your caste.”
Millions of rupees
According to the complaint, the accused took 10 to 12 lakh rupees in the name of education from the girl and other needs. He had assured that everything would be alright after marriage. But even after taking the money, neither the marriage was made public nor the money was returned.
Abortion also made pressure, then accused disappeared
When the woman pressurized the family to talk about marriage, the accused started deferring and then escaped. He said that “a relationship is being seen for me at home” and “You are not of my caste, so marriage is not possible.” After this, he started distance from the young woman.
Case filed in police, case in many serious sections
Complaint of the incident was made at Vishrambagh police station. The police have registered a case against the accused youth, his brother and father under several sections of the Indian Penal Code. Along with this, a case has also been registered under the Act related to atrocities on Scheduled Castes. This entire incident is being reported from the year 2020 and 2025.
