Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Sunday that it is his responsibility to work closely with the armed forces and give a ‘befitting reply’ to those who keep a bad eye on India. Singh’s remarks came under the backdrop of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, killing 26 people. The Defense Minister said that the country will remain as he wants.
The Defense Minister while addressing an event held in Delhi said that people know Prime Minister Narendra Modi very well and they are well aware of his working style, determination and the way he ‘takes risks’.

The senior BJP leader said that I want to assure you that what you want under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi will definitely happen. His statement came at a time when India is considering retaliation against Pakistan in view of the cross -border relations of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. 26 people were killed in this attack, mostly tourists.

Singh said that as the Defense Minister, it is my responsibility to work closely with my soldiers and ensure safety of the borders of the country.
