Sanjay shirsat and ajit pawar
There has been a political uproar over the famous Ladli Bahna scheme of Maharashtra. The opposition has been constantly attacking the government about this. At the same time, now only the ministers of the government are raising questions about the financial condition of the government. Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat has clearly stated that it is not possible to increase the scheme amount from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,100, because the vault of the government is currently vacant.
Taking a dig at Finance Minister Ajit Pawar, Minister Sanjay Shirsat said that Ajit Pawar has taken funds from his tribal ministry and put it in ‘Ladli Bahna Yojana’, which is affecting the schemes related to his ministry. Shirsat said that his department should get 11.8 percent of the budget, but this is not happening. He said that only 350 crore rupees have been given while 7 thousand crores have been spent in the name of the scheme. Shirsat said that he is not against the Ladli Bahna scheme, but there should be no injustice to other accounts in the budget allocation, otherwise the schemes will stop, which will affect the functioning of the department and the public.
‘The final decision related to the scheme is of CM’
However, after the statement of Sanjay Shirsat, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that the final decision related to the scheme is by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He said that the Chief Minister is aware of Ladli Bahn Yojana. The department has to close or keep it on, it will be their decision ‘. In fact, the Ladli Bahna Yojana is running under the Ministry of Women and Child Development under the Ministry of Child Development, Ajit Pawar’s NCP leader Aditi Tatkare is with Aditi Tatkare. In such a situation, questions are also being raised about political equations whether the budget imbalance is being created intentionally among the ministries.
‘Maharashtra government has become pauper’
On this ruckus inside the Maharashtra government, Congress leader Vijay Wadetiwar said that the government does not have the money to give Rs 2,100 to women. He said that the government has become pauper, money has to be taken from other departments. He taunted that he will deal with Shinde now, after a few days, he will also deal with Dada (Ajit Pawar).
‘Government did not fulfill its promise’
Kishori Pednekar, leader of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), has said that the Ladli Bahna Yojana was launched before the election, but after the election, the government has declared millions of sisters ineligible with this scheme. He said that so far about 13 lakh beneficiaries have been declared invalid. Many women are getting only 500 rupees, while the Maharashtra government promised to give 2100 rupees, which has not been fulfilled yet.
The Shiv Sena (UBT) has announced to protest against this arbitrariness of the government and the injustice being done to women on Wednesday (May 7) at the Collector Office. Kishori Pednekar said, ‘Ajit Pawar should fulfill his promise. The women of the state are in fear that this plan should not be completely stopped after the BMC elections.
