The family staged a sit -in and later lodged an official complaint against the hospital and doctors, in which he was accused of serious medical negligence. On getting information about the incident, the District Medical and Health Department officials reached the spot and assured people to take action after investigating the incident.
Officials assured action
In view of the public outrage, senior officials of Rangaradi district including District Medical and Health Officer immediately inspected the private hospital. To perform any surgery, senior doctors should be physically present in the operation theater of the hospital. Such allegations have been made that the nurses used to perform the operation by obtaining instructions on the phone from maternity experts. We are investigating.
