Increased monitoring of footpaths
In view of the possibility of smugglers and trained suspicious elements entering India in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, their monitoring has been increased, considering 104 footpaths of seven districts of Uttar Pradesh adjacent to the Nepal border as sensitive. These districts of Uttar Pradesh include Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich and Pilibhit.
Illegal madrasas and Pakistani funding activities spread in these areas have made security agencies sleep. Based on the report of the intelligence agency, ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash has instructed the police officers of the concerned district to increase special vigilance and patrolling with the list of footpaths. There are 7-7 sensitive footpaths in Maharajganj and Shravasti, 5-5 in Siddharthnagar and Balrampur, 10 in Pilibhit, 30 in Lakhimpur Kheri and 40 in Bahraich.

Intelligence agencies have described the 104 footpaths which have been sensitive. Through them, smuggling and trained suspicious elements have been feared to enter India. In view of this, ADG Law and Order, after the instructions of Amitabh Yash, after the letter from the police headquarters, the monitoring of the intelligence and security agency is being increased along with increasing the duty of the local police. Not only this, verification of people living in houses, hotels, restaurants, guest houses is also being verified. The police of the border police stations are completely on alert mode regarding the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
400 madrasas identified for investigation
New barricading has also been installed near the border in the Nautanwa area of Maharajganj. More than 400 madrasas of the border area have been identified by the investigating agencies. Funding recognition in these madrasas is also being investigated, in which the local police as well as the intelligence agency is investigating. The investigation of the local police and intelligence agency has confirmed many madrasas to be involved in foreign contacts and illegal activities, after which the administration has started clamping down on it.
Phool Tekra Madrasa in Nepalganj in Banke, Nepal is under special supervision of security agencies. This madrasa is getting funds from Pakistan. According to the report of intelligence agencies, this madrasa is working as a brain wash to propagate anti -India ideology and to spread instability in India.
