NEET UG was organized at more than 5 thousand centers across the country on Sunday. It also had a center at Delhi’s Jahangirpuri Government Senior Second Girls College, where the students who arrived were told that the biometric is bad. Later, it was clarified by NTA that students who have not been biometric, will also be considered present. However, the students were confused from the commencement of the examination till late night. They believed that they would be considered absconding and the result would be stopped.
Attendance will be considered
On complaints of non -biometric scan in NEET UG, NTA said that children had chosen biometric and EKYC formats for entry. The children who applied from EKYC were made from the OTP, which is valid, who did not choose this option, there was a biometric option for their attendance, although due to its malfunction, the children who are seen in CCTV will be considered their attendance mark. That is why the students do not need to worry about it.
Hologram also installed
Late evening on behalf of NTA, it was also clearly stated that a separate hologram has been installed in front of the children whose biometric has not been done, so that it can be ensured that the children were present during the examination. That is why children who have not had biometrics, they also do not have to get upset, neither will they be considered abcent nor will their result be stopped.
Who is responsible for the problem of children?
Due to lack of biometric scan at examination centers, students had to get upset at many examination centers in Delhi. Despite the end of the examination at 5 o’clock, these students stayed at the center so that they could get any concrete reply, but the center in -charge could not give them any kind of assurance. Especially at the Jahangirpur Government Senior Secondary College in Delhi, students were thrown out of the center saying that attendance would be valid, although the center management retreated when the students demanded this in the retain.
Late night, it was clarified by NTA that attendance would be valid without biometric, only after this, the students got relief, but the kind of confusion and worry about the future from late night remained like a mental problem. The students also said that if this was the case then the NTA should already clean it. Who is responsible for such negligence in such a big examination? If the NTA takes this decision, then it should have been given information about it in time.
