Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypti said in clear terms on Saturday night that Pakistan has violated the ceasefire agreement between the DGMOs of India and Pakistan this evening. He said, the Indian Army is strongly responding and is strictly dealing with the border encroachment. This violation is extremely condemnable and Pakistan is fully responsible for it. Egyptian warned Pakistan, “We hope that Pakistan will understand the seriousness of the situation and will stop such activities with immediate effect.” The Foreign Secretary also stated that the Indian armed forces are completely cautious and they have been given clear instructions that strict and decisive action should be taken if there is any recurrence on the border.
