Mallikarjun Khara
The Congress on Friday targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party and questioned a video compared between the former United Progressive Alliance government and the Modi government in dealing with terrorism and questioned whether there is no longer needed with the opposition and not to convey the message of solidarity?
The BJP released a video on its X handle in the backdrop of military action taken under ‘Operation Sindoor’ on terrorist bases in Pakistan. The ruling party has mentioned in the video that after the terrorist attacks, the Congress -led coalition government did not take any concrete action and held peace talks with Pakistan, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is taking decisive action against terrorism.
The BJP has posted with the video that the message for the enemies is vigorously and clear that do not collide with us. Unlike the inaction of coalition rule, there is no longer patience for futile peace talks in new India.
Reversing the BJP about this, Pawan Kheda, the head of the media department of the Congress, posted on X that now you have to do politics? It is time to do politics? Government does not need the opposition? Does not the message of solidarity now? The government and BJP should clarify this.

Questions raised on PM Modi’s absence
The Congress party has given its full support to the Central Government during the all -party meeting organized to relieve the increasing tension with Pakistan after firing from across the border on Operation Sindoor of India and then the Line of Control (LoC). However, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s absence in the meeting and asked if the Prime Minister considers himself above Parliament.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Kharge said that in the interest of the country, anything related to national security is confidential and they cannot say anything about it. However, all the party members present said that we are all with them in this hour of crisis and asked them to continue working, and we will support them in the interest of the country.
