War of war with India, the world manages Bangladesh's sympathy, a big decision on cricket

Lahore: On the one hand, after the Pahalgam terror attack, India is preparing to respond to the killings of 28 innocents, on the other hand, Pakistan seems to be isolated from the world. At least in terms of cricket, any big team may hardly decide to visit Pakistan. Meanwhile, Bangladesh seems to be a sympathizer for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The PCB has announced that Bangladesh team will visit Pakistan in May for the five -match T20 series. The series will be played in Faisalabad and Lahore from 25 May to 3 June. The series of three ODIs and three T20 Internationals was initially set under the future tour program (FTP), but now it will be a tour of five T20 international matches. PCB said in a statement, 'This series is part of FTP. It originally consisted of three ODIs and three T20 matches.

However, in view of next year's ICC Men T20 World Cup, both the boards have agreed to hold two additional T20 matches instead of ODIs with mutual consent. The Iqbal Stadium will welcome international cricket after a span of 17 years. 24 Tests and 16 ODIs have been played here between 1978 and 2008. The last international match at this historic site was an ODI between Bangladesh and Pakistan in April 2008. In September last year, the first Champions One-Day Cup and the National T20 Cup last month were successfully organized on this ground.

The first and second T20 matches of the series will be held on 25 May and 27 May. The remaining three T20 matches will be played on 30 May 1 and 3 June at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The Bangladesh team will arrive on May 21 and will participate in the training session at Iqbal Stadium from 22 to 24 May.
