Lucknow – Uttar Pradesh Transport Department has launched 24 × 7 WhatsApp chatbot for public facility. Through which the major services related to transport will be available to citizens 24 hours. Vehicle registration services, driving license details, challan status and much more can be obtained by Chatbot. This initiative is part of the state’s effort for digital change. The aim of the new service is to ensure that citizens get transparent and timely assistance using the widely used platforms. Transport Commissioner Brajesh Narayan Singh said that the chatbot abolishes citizens to stand in long queues or repeatedly go to RTO offices for regular questions and tasks. Everything from checking the challan details to the renewal of driving license can be managed from home using smartphones.
