There is anger across the country due to the death of 26 people in the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. All the big leaders of the country have condemned this attack. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) chief Farooq Abdullah said on the Pahalgam terror attack that we want to remove the misconceptions of Pakistan that we will go to Pakistan with these antics. When we did not go with him in 1947, then why will we go today?
Abdullah said that we are not ready to accept two national principles even today. We are getting stronger not weaker than this. I always always wanted the conversation but what would we say to the families of those victims that we are talking? Is it justice to talk?
The former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir said that in 1947, Kashmiris threw the two-nation theory into water and said that their area would not go with Pakistan. Today we are not ready to accept the principle of two nations. Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, we are all one. We will give them a befitting reply. Farooq Abdullah said, “We regret that our neighbor is still not able to understand that he has killed humanity.”
General Munir had said that Pakistan will stand with Kashmiri people in a struggle against Indian occupation
The Pahalgam attack took place a few days after Pakistan’s Army Chief General Aseem Munir raised a two-nation theory. Addressing a conference of migrant Pakistanis in Islamabad on 16 April, General Munir said that Pakistan would stand with Kashmiri people in a struggle against Indian occupation. He had said, “It was the vein of our throat, it is the vein of our throat, we will not forget it.” Read- Farmer leader Tikait told wrong decision to cancel Indus water treaty
