While tourists were going to Basaron Maidan in front of the CRPF camp, about seven kilometers below Basaron Maidan.

If you had a single young man, I would not have dared

It is said that this Basaron Maidan was opened for tourists throughout the year, but for the safety of tourists, neither Jammu and Kashmir Police built any of its posts there nor any CRPF jawan was there. Sources say that if a person equipped with AK-47 on behalf of Jammu and Kashmir Police or CRPF had been on the spot, then the terrorists could not have such a great courage.

Police is also investigating at its level

The terrorists shot and killed 26 people in the open ground. If a single force of the force was there, it would have been heavy to answer them. Because, where did he run away. But no soldier was stationed there that day. After this lapse or negligence, the CRPF DG has sought an answer from Rajesh Kumar, Commandant of the 116th Battalion of CRPF there.
