What to say of drivers
Drivers say that Blousmart was the best platform for them. The company stopped work without any notice. Due to this, the drivers are caught in trouble. They do not even know when their outstanding money will be received. It is estimated that more than 10,000 drivers in Delhi-NCR, Bangalore and Mumbai have been affected by this. It is reported that some of the Blausmart vehicles have been confiscated by banks or other electric cab companies like Avera have been bought.
Not our fault but we are upset
Sanjay Sagar has been working with Bluusmart since 2022. He said, “We made Bluemart. Why should we get upset? We had no fault.” The protest began when SECURITES and Exchange Board of India stopped Bluusmart co-founder Anmol Singh Jaggi and Puneet Singh Jaggi from doing business in the stock market. SEBI has also refused to hold him a position in the company. He is accused of rigging money in his solar EPC firm, Jansol engineering and making fake documents. Jansol engineering has a deep connection with Blasmart.
Earlier we used to get money every week
Drivers say that they used to get money every week earlier. If he had earned more than Rs 20,000, he used to get Rs 8,000 as incentive. In addition, they also got additional incentives based on the rating of customers. However, incentives were reduced in the last few months. Some drivers allege that the owners of the company withdraw the money for their personal use. Many drivers said that they did not get the last payment late or received.
Different problems of women drivers
There were more than 300 female drivers in Delhi in Bluemart. They are facing different types of problems. Delhi’s 21 -year -old driver Tarisha Kumar said, “We got the message that the cars have been placed on the hub for audit. Nothing has happened since then. Other platforms have not easily placed women as drivers.” Many of them are now struggling to find a new job. Kumar said, “It is easy for male drivers, but women, especially single mothers are left behind.”
This is injustice
Organizing Secretary of Gig Workers Association, Nitesh Kumar Das said the company left the drivers without any compensation. He said, “This is injustice. These people formed a company with their hard work. There should be a law to prevent this from happening.” Many drivers are now facing financial crisis. Especially those who were the only earning members of their family. A driver from Gurugram said that he is struggling to pay his daughter’s school fees. They have no jobs and they do not even know what will happen next.
