A suspect was arrested by the police in the investigation of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. The name of this suspect was Imtiaz Ahmed Magre. According to the information received, the police questioned the 23 -year -old Imtiaz and confessed to helping the terrorists of Pahalgam. He was taking the police to the hideout of the terrorists, but then he did such a thing that everyone was surprised.
The over ground worker (OGW) Imtiaz Magre of Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let) started running away by dodging the police on the way. During this time, he jumped into the Vishav Nala River. He also tried to swim there and crossed the river, but he was swept away in a strong current. After this, he died due to drowning. However, the family has alleged conspiracy in the incident and claimed that Magre has been killed in custody. Meanwhile, PDP President Mehbooba Mufti has also questioned this death.
According to sources, the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday detained the Magre in connection with the investigation of the Pahalgam terror attack. During interrogation, he confessed that he had given some other help to the terrorists hiding in the Tangmarg forest of Kulgam. The Magre promised to take the security forces to the hideout of the terrorists. On Sunday, when he was taking the joint team of the police and the army towards the hideout, he jumped into the Vishav Nala river.
